Woolooware Shores Open Day Celebrates 20 Years of Waterfront Seniors Living

Woolooware Shores is opening its doors this March to celebrate 20 years of redefining seniors living. As part of the milestone, a limited-time $20,000 anniversary gift is available for new residents, marking the final release of brand-new waterfront residences. 

Since its inception, Woolooware Shores has quietly built a community that balances independence, wellbeing, and connection – all set within a premium, tranquil waterfront setting. Residents enjoy thoughtfully designed spaces, and 24/7 on-site care, allowing residents to focus on what truly matters: living life to the fullest. 

The Open Day on Saturday, 21 March offers a full day of experiences for visitors of all ages with some highlights including: 

  • Exclusive tours of stunning waterfront display residences 
  • Live entertainment, interactive activities, and prize draws 
  • Delicious food & drinks – Messina gelato, cannoli, high tea, coffee, fresh juices, and lunch 
  • Children’s fun – face painting, bubble artist, and more 
  • Time with friendly staff and welcoming residents 

Adding star power to the celebration is, Ray Martin AM, award-winning journalist, former 60 Minutes host, and five-time Gold Logie winner, who will MC and share the celebration with guests.

While Justine Schofield, host of Everyday Gourmet, MasterChef fan favourite, cookbook author, and celebrated Australian food and media personality, will present a live cooking demonstration.

Guests can also explore Woolooware Shores’ Tides Cinema, Wellness Centre, hair salon, fully equipped gym, and a selection of local vendors contributing to the village’s vibrant community atmosphere. 

“We’re really excited to be able to welcome visitors and potential new residents to the village,” says Woolooware Shores’ village general manager, Liza Fox. 

“Our team work really closely with the residents, we provide a lot of support and services ... and it’s just a great place to live. You’ve always got somebody to chat to, doesn’t matter what time of the day or night it is and that’s a really important part of living here at Woolooware Shores.”
